Mühltal, 1 August 2011- Many visitors gathered on Thursday 28 July at DATRON AG in Mühltal-Traisa for the “TechnikLounge” in-house exhibition to learn about the newest products and technologies in high speed mills (HSC mills).

Lectures, live equipment demonstrations and informative talks took place at the garden-lounge with a summer ambience: Together with the cooperation partner Mastercam, the leading provider of CAM software, and scientists of the TU Darmstadt, DATRON presented the latest trends, products and solutions in the field of HSC milling technology.

"We are delighted that so many interested parties have accepted our invitation, this year's influx of visitors has far exceeded our expectations," said Erwin Sowa, Director of Marketing and Sales at DATRON AG. "Our extensive experience and expertise gives our customers a direct added value and helps them to produce still more efficiently and economically and to develop new markets by means of our innovative technologies."

The visitors took the opportunity to discuss their applications with the attending specialists in a relaxed lounge atmosphere and to find solutions for even more efficient production methods.

During live demonstrations, they were able to convince themselves about the performance of DATRON milling machines, such as the new M10Pro, the large-format ML or MV or the cost-effective M75 and M85 models. This was supplemented by lectures on the topics of spindles and machining technology, Mastercam "Entry", CNC milling tools, machine software V9 and simulation aided design of machine tools intralogistics systems.
