■ Chairman of the Board Dr. Arne Brüsch assumes responsibility for entire market activity of DATRON

■ Member of the Board Erwin Sowa takes on role of strategic consultant

■ Future DATRON Board consists of four members

Mühltal, Germany  -  28 January 2014 –DATRON AG (WKN A0V9LA), a leading provider of innovative CNC milling machines, Dental CAM milling- / grinding machines as well as dispensing machines based in Mühltal near Darmstadt, Germany, announced today changes to the company’s Board of Directors. Effective from 1 April 2014, Mr. Erwin Sowa, previously responsible for Sales and Marketing, will resign from the DATRON Board and assume the role of a strategic consultant. In the future, he will intensively attend to the business development und internationalization efforts of DATRON AG. Mr. Sowa’s job profile changes according to plan and on friendly terms with the company’s management team. His previous responsibilities will devolve to the Chairman of the Board and CEO, Dr. Arne Brüsch, who will be in charge of all DATRON Sales and Marketing activities from 1 April 2014 onwards.Mr. Sowa has been with DATRON since 1987 (former DATRON-Electronic GmbH). He has played an integral part in shaping the growth of the business successfully. In his role as DATRON’s head of sales for many years Mr. Sowa was responsible for the development of new marketing and sales approaches, as well as the organization and expansion of international sales structures for the business. Since May 2008 he was Deputy Chairman of the Board and responsible for Sales and Marketing. The Supervisory Board and the Board of Directors of DATRON AG extend much gratitude to Mr. Sowa’s significant contributions to the company and welcome his decision to further support the positive development of the business in his new role as a strategic consultant to DATRON AG.
