For the second DATRON Tech Day, the milling machine specialist presented smart technologies and innovations around the machine tool portfolio. With the focus on the modularity of the powerful milling machines and the great technological know-how of its own experts, DATRON convinced the approximately one hundred national and international guests at DATRON Tech Day 2020.
From development to after sales - everything from one source
The DATRON principle became clear both during the informative presentations in the morning and during the subsequent live demonstrations of the machines. "We at DATRON look at the entire process. As a machine manufacturer with our own tool production, our intuitive DATRON next control and smart accessories, we support our customers in optimizing their individual processes. In all our actions, the needs of our customers come first", commented Dr. Robert Rost, Chief Technology Officer, on DATRON's " everything from one source" approach.
That this principle also works in practice became clear in the Customer Success Story of Lorenz Hoffmann GmbH. Thanks to the latest DATRON technologies and the holistic optimization of individual production processes, individual parts become serial parts and both processing and personnel costs as well as ancillary costs can be significantly reduced.
Future-oriented solutions for higher process reliability
A look at DATRON's technology trends of the future showed that the company takes up the needs of its customers and develops efficient solutions together with them. For example, the soon to be launched DATRON Live Apps offer solutions for monitoring and analyses of machine data. In combination with product highlights such as the DATRON ToolAssist and the multitude of automation connections, DATRON presents a future-oriented product portfolio.
