The DATRON Axis5 expands your machine with a compact, ultra-precise rotary swivel unit for tilted and simultaneous 5-axis machining. It mounts directly into the cut-out section of your DATRON machine using conical centering bushes, integrating seamlessly into your machining environment. Thanks to its compact design, the table can also be used for 3-axis machining—delivering maximum productivity with minimal space requirements.

- A-axis: Tilt range from -5° to +100° for angled machining
These extended degrees of freedom enable the precise milling of complex contours, undercuts, and inclined surfaces in a single setup. No reclamping is required – ensuring maximum repeatability and process reliability for demanding multi-sided applications.
Maximum Part Size for Simultaneous 5-Axis Machining
Efficient Use of Space – Even for Complex Parts
The DATRON Axis5 enables the simultaneous machining of parts with the following maximum dimensions:
