DATRON minimum quantity cooling lubrication (MMKS) systems provide an efficient and clean solution for high-performance milling, drilling, and engraving. Tailored for use with ethanol, fatty alcohols, or oil-based coolants, these systems deliver precise amounts of liquid directly to the tool edge—leaving minimal or no residue. This eliminates the need for post-processing such as cleaning or degreasing. Optimized coolant delivery for superior results
The DATRON 4-nozzle spray system ensures precise and efficient coolant distribution from all angles. Four adjustable, concentrated jets are positioned around the milling tool to consistently deliver coolant to the cutting edge—regardless of milling direction. Available in both fixed and adjustable configurations for the DATRON M8Cube, DATRON MLCube and DATRON MXCube, this system guarantees effective heat dissipation and improved tool performance.

Durable coolant reservoir with level monitoring
The robust 10-liter metal reservoir is directly mounted to the machine and provides a reliable supply of cooling lubricant. An integrated fill level sensor automatically monitors the fluid level and issues a warning via the machine control system when refilling is required. A visual level indicator ensures additional process safety—making this reservoir ideal for continuous and unattended production.

Cooling control
Up to 30% less coolant consumption – flexible, precise and automated adjustability for maximum efficiency and reliability. The controllable DATRON cooling system regulates cooling and lubrication media directly during the milling process – manually or via the CAM program. Flow rate and pressure can be adjusted precisely to the material, machining step and process situation. Result: reduced consumption, lower costs and consistent high quality. Particularly in series production, and with changing materials, programmable settings ensure reliability and optimal prerequisites for automated processes.
