DATRON next is the next-generation CNC control system for DATRON dispensing machines. It combines modern touch operation with intelligent assistance and realistic 3D visualization. Clear structures, guided workflows, and integrated camera technology ensure maximum safety and efficiency from the first program selection to the active dispensing process. This makes high-speed precision dispensing simple and reliable for beginners and professionals alike.
Six steps to a finished part!
1. Select and load a program
A clearly structured, easy-to-navigate program manager helps you quickly find the right job. Programs are displayed in a logical, transparent way, and key details, like the program name and a visual preview, are available at a glance for safe and efficient selection.
2. Pump administration
Quickly select the right pump from a clear overview and activate it with just a few clicks. Thanks to intelligent control, drive parameters can be adjusted in a matter of seconds – for maximum flexibility and minimal setup times.
3. Manage tools intelligently
Define your tool precisely and to your specific needs: Choose the right needle and measure it accurately for optimal process results. Custom tools are easy to create and can be perfectly tailored to your requirements.
4. Set up your workpiece in seconds
Setting up your workpiece is exceptionally easy and convenient: The combination of an integrated camera, intuitive touch controls, and a 3D confocal sensor allows you to quickly and precisely define the zero point – even without prior experience.
5. Review and understand the 3D simulation
Keep an eye on your dosing process at all times, even before it starts. The integrated 3D simulation realistically visualizes all movements based on actual process data.
Features:
- Freely move and view 3D components
- Selectively display the dosing bead
- View the entire process
- Zoom in on details and identify start/stop points
6. Start and monitor the machining process
The status display consolidates all key information into a clear overview: machine and tool status, machining progress, and cartridge fill level. This allows you to spot deviations immediately and respond right away if necessary – ensuring maximum control and process reliability.
