DATRON VacuCard
Optimize your vacuum clamping with DATRON VacuCard. This micro-perforated special cardboard ensures uniform vacuum distribution, protects the plate as a sacrificial layer, and eliminates the need to cover unused areas. Also available: DATRON VacuCard++ with adhesive grid for higher holding force, and DATRON VacuCard+++ with extra-fine adhesive pattern for very small parts.

DATRON VacuCard++ – For enhanced holding force
The DATRON VacuCard++ is a patented sacrificial layer with an added adhesive grid structure (10 mm x 10 mm). Ideal for thin, flexible, or small parts. It improves the holding force and reduces vacuum consumption. Perfect for high milling forces, rough surfaces and delicate workpieces.
DATRON VacuCard+++ – For very small parts & maximum grip
With a finer adhesive grid (5 mm x 5 mm) and stronger adhesive layer, the patented VacuCard+++ securely holds even the smallest and lightest parts—down to 10 mm diameter. It ensures high process safety during demanding machining tasks and offers uniform vacuum distribution. Best suited for very small components, prototypes, and small series production.
When should the VacuCard++/+++ be used?
- Milling small or delicate parts from sheet material
- Processing thin or soft sheet materials
- Working with blank stock without separators
- Clamping rough or textured surfaces
- Ensuring stability during high-force milling operations

How does the VacuCard++ work?
The VacuCard++ is ideal for applications where conventional vacuum alone isn't enough
Thanks to its patented sealing adhesive layer, the VacuCard++/+++:
- Increases holding force through a suction-cup effect
- Improves part stability during high cutting forces
- Prevents slipping with high surface friction
- Reduces vacuum loss by sealing unused areas
- Distributes vacuum evenly across the entire surface
- Delays vacuum drop-off when drilling or cutting around the part
- Keeps flexible materials flat, preventing edge lift
- Allows clean removal of the part after machining, leaving no residue
How to use the VacuCard++/+++
- Place the VacuCard++/+++ between the vacuum plate and the workpiece.
- Use a pico knife to cut the protective film around the part’s footprint.
- Remove the cut film sections and place the part directly on the exposed adhesive.
- Activate the vacuum and begin machining.
- After milling, the part can be removed cleanly and safely.

Cooling Lubricant
