Productive added value thanks to high-speed milling machine DATRON MXCube in two performance levels for demanding industrial applications

Mühltal - At the beginning of the year, DATRON AG places its latest development in the field of industrial high-performance machining of aluminum on the market with the 4kW variant of the DATRON MXCube.

Since its initial launch in 2020, the DATRON MXCube has been celebrating worldwide successes with industrial users with demanding component geometries or high demands on surface quality in series production.  Due to its performance features, the showcase milling machine from Germany adorns numerous production halls of top players in the supplier and contract manufacturing industry. Dynamics and precision are among the major plus points of this industrial solution, which also won the red dot award for its attractive machine design.

Its rigid structure, maximum dynamics and powerful high-frequency spindles with 4 kW and 8 kW power are tailor-made attributes for modern HSC strategies. The unique combination of high chip volume and excellent surface finish therefore makes the DATRON MXCube a must-have for modern milling shops where unit costs determine the work cycle.

As of now, the DATRON MXCube is also available with a 4kW spindle and the automatic DATRON Tool Assist tool changer with 143 HSK-25 tool slots. In this performance level, it is particularly recommended for applications where a high number of sister tools is required. The DATRON MXCube also convinces with its sophisticated chip management and is offered with an optional chip conveyor.

The DATRON MXCube is the right choice wherever high dynamics, high speeds and corresponding feed rates are required for the machining of aluminum and non-ferrous metals. In addition, the machine solution offers excellent accessibility to all functional elements and thus simplifies not only the operation for the worker but also the maintenance for the service.

Like all DATRON high-speed milling machines, the DATRON MXCube scores with its compactness, i.e. with its extraordinarily large working area with a relatively small footprint.
