DATRON next MailAlert
Purchase option | NO additional hardware required
The machine can now send emails. It can automatically send them on specific events - for example, at the end of program execution or when execution is interrupted by a dialog. In addition, the new SimPL command "MailAlert" lets you send custom notifications.

OPC UA Interface
Purchase option | NO additional hardware required
An OPC UA interface allows an OPC client on the remote side (e.g., UaExpert) to retrieve current machine information. As with the REST API, a user management system is available; anonymous access can also be enabled if required.

RTCP Enhancement
NO purchase option | REQUIRED hardware: Rotary axis
The RTCP feature has been further enhanced: machining now maintains a constant surface speed (CSS), and motion is continuously interpolated.
Support of the DATRON Axis5 Rotary/Tilting Table
NO purchase option | ADDITIONAL hardware required: Rotary/Swivel axis
Starting with this version, the new DATRON Axis5 rotary/tilting table is supported. Setup routines and compensation are available.
Preparatory Adjustments for Multi-Axis Workflows
NO purchase option | REQUIRED hardware: Rotary or Rotary/Swivel axis
The foundation for workflows with more than three axes (e.g., rotary axis/DST/RTCP) has been adjusted in preparation for upcoming changes. Please be aware that, in some cases, this may affect existing workflows.
Support of DATRON neo Entry
NO purchase option | REQUIRED hardware: DATRON neo Entry
Starting with this version, the new machine type DATRON neo Entry is supported.

Automatic XYZ Sensor Calibration at Machine Startup
NO purchase option | REQUIRED hardware: DATRON 3D Probe | REQUIRED software option: 3D Probe Calibration
Analogous to homing and spindle warm-up, the automatic XYZ sensor calibration can now be enabled in the “Startup Behavior” dialog for machine startup.

Optimized Travel Path During Surface Profile Probing
NO purchase option | REQUIRED software option: Surface Profile
During surface profile probing, the measurement points are now traversed in a meandering (zigzag) path to reduce travel distance and save time.
Faster Switching of Vacuum Zones
NO purchase option | REQUIRED hardware: Vacuum
Switching vacuum zones via the DATRON next interface now provides immediate feedback, and the delay before the new setting takes effect has been significantly reduced.
Control of the Spray System During Program Execution
NO purchase option | REQUIRED hardware: spray system (proportional valves)
In the "Coolant/Lubricant" view, machines with a proportional valve can now adjust the pressure during program execution in 0.5-bar increments. At more than 6 bar air pressure, the system automatically switches to two containers, where available.

Configurable Command Tiles on the Home Screen
NO purchase option | NO additional hardware required
The assignment of the gray command tiles at the bottom of the home screen (e.g., Park, Door release) is now configurable.

Fifth Shortcut in the Quick Access Bar
NO purchase option | NO additional hardware required
The quick access bar at the top of the screen now provides an additional slot for a fifth shortcut.

Display IP Address for DATRON Live
NO purchase option | REQUIRED software: DATRON Live
The machine’s IP address used to access DATRON Live is now shown in the corresponding settings, making it easier to connect from other computers.

Highlighting Editor Tabs at Breakpoints
NO purchase option | NO additional hardware required
When an editor tab is paused at a breakpoint during debugging, the tab is highlighted, making it easier to find it among multiple open tabs. This applies to debugging both SimPL programs and the SimPL PLC.

Minor Editor Improvements
NO purchase option | NO additional hardware required
The editor integrated into DATRON next has been further improved.
- Additional shortcuts: Shift+Delete (Cut) and Shift+Insert (Paste).
- Extended file type support: you can now also load .json, .html, .js, and .css.
